Why is nothing happening on my starting dose?
Because it is not supposed to. The Welcome Dose introduces the medicine, it does not drive weight loss.
The starting dose (0.25mg semaglutide, 2.5mg tirzepatide) is a Welcome Dose. It is not considered effective for weight loss, so most people see no real results in the first four weeks.
That stage is for letting your body adjust to a new hormone and letting your head catch up with the change. Do not increase before four weeks have passed, even if you feel fine.
There are no reliable results showing any benefit to titrating up faster than recommended. Skipping the starter phase mostly buys you more side effects, which is how people end up quitting.
