Happiness Chemicals
Dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins.
Definition
The four stars of biological happiness are dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins. These are the neurotransmitters and hormones that drive stuff like positive mood, reward-seeking, bonding, and stress reduction.
Why it matters
The book treats these as a build, not a mood. Each one has its own list of cheap, repeatable ways to get it, because the plan for the gray stretch has to exist before the gray stretch arrives.
